Acceptance of Terms
By visiting our showroom, using our website (Sri Selvam Nagai Maligai), making an enquiry, or purchasing any product or service from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services. These terms apply to all customers, whether purchasing in-store or through any digital communication channel.

Products & Pricing
All jewellery displayed at Sri Selvam Nagai Maligai is subject to availability and prevailing gold/silver market rates.
- Gold prices are updated daily based on the prevailing MCX/IBJA market rate.
- Making charges, wastage, and GST are applicable on all purchases and are disclosed at the time of billing.
- Product images displayed on our website or promotional materials are for illustrative purposes and actual products may vary slightly in design.
- We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time without prior notice, in line with market fluctuations.
- Quoted prices are valid only on the date of quotation and are subject to change.
Purchases & Payments
All purchases made at Sri Selvam Nagai Maligai are subject to the following conditions:
- Purchases can be made in-store via cash, UPI, NEFT/RTGS, or card (subject to applicable bank charges).
- A valid purchase bill will be issued for every transaction, which serves as proof of purchase and is required for any future exchange, buyback, or warranty claims.
- GST will be levied as per applicable government regulations and is included in the final bill.
- Advance payments for custom or reserved orders are non-refundable if the customer cancels after the order is confirmed and production has begun.
- EMI schemes are subject to availability, and terms are disclosed at the time of enrolment.
Custom Orders
For bespoke or custom-designed jewellery, the following terms apply:
- A design consultation will be conducted and a formal order confirmation issued before production begins.
- An advance of 50% or more of the estimated order value is required before work commences.
- Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. The advance paid is non-refundable in such cases.
- Final weight and making charges may differ slightly from the initial estimate; the difference will be settled at the time of delivery.
- Delivery timelines are estimates and are subject to change based on design complexity and material availability.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control (strikes, material shortages, etc.).
Warranty & Quality
Sri Selvam Nagai Maligai is committed to the highest standards of quality and purity:
- All gold jewellery is BIS Hallmarked and certified for purity as stated on the product label and bill.
- Diamond jewellery comes with relevant gemological certification from recognised laboratories.
- We offer a 1-year manufacturing warranty covering defects such as broken settings, soldering failures, or clasp malfunctions under normal use.
- The warranty does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, theft, loss, or alterations made by third parties.
- Complimentary cleaning and polishing is available once per year upon presentation of the original bill.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including text, images, logos, jewellery designs, and other materials — is the intellectual property of Sri Selvam Nagai Maligai or its respective licensors.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from our website without prior written permission.
- Our jewellery designs are original and protected. Copying or imitation of our designs is strictly prohibited.
- The brand name "Sri Selvam Nagai Maligai" and associated logos are registered trademarks and may not be used without authorisation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sri Selvam Nagai Maligai shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or services.
- Loss or damage to jewellery left for repair or service beyond our stated liability limit.
- Inaccuracies or errors on our website, which are corrected as soon as identified.
- Fluctuations in gold or silver market prices affecting the value of purchased jewellery.
✦ In all cases, our maximum liability is limited to the original purchase price of the item in question.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically applicable in the state of Tamil Nadu.
- Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Salem, Tamil Nadu.
- We encourage customers to reach out to us directly to resolve any concerns amicably before initiating legal proceedings.
- Consumer disputes may also be referred to the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Changes to These Terms
